Final scar maturation continues over several months, with the incision carefully hidden beneath the base of the nose.

Results

Results are visible immediately after surgery, although swelling will gradually settle over the following weeks. Final results are typically seen after 3–6 months, leaving a more defined, youthful and naturally enhanced upper lip.
